I don’t know why, but vanilla hemp milk lattes just make me so happy. Maybe it’s because when a coffee shop carries hemp milk, I know that “these are my people.” Hemp milk makes my latte so creamy and delicious with a slight nutty flavor. It definitely feels like a special treat. So the next time you see me at Whole Foods or Sip and Ship giggling like a little girl, both hands wrapped around a coffee cup, you will know it’s a hemp milk vanilla latte in there.
As I mentioned before, I’m working to heal my gut. My doctor recommended cutting back on gluten and dairy. While I haven’t eliminated these things completely, hemp milk in my coffee is an easy way to reduce my dairy intake. Win!
Additionally, Hemp milk contains healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It has protein, iron, potassium, magnesium and vitamins A, B12, D and E. Hemp milk is also a good source of phosphorus, a nutrient essential for healthy bones. I better run out and get myself some right now! See you at the coffee shop!
